Today my love is your 2nd birthday. So exciting. I think I went overboard with things, but this is your last year as an only child, as today we found out you are going to be a big brother. I think you are to young yet to understand the concept, it'll come with time.
You are purely breath taking. You are a beautiful little boy. You are cherished by so many people. And loved to the depths of the oceans by both me and your dad.
You still aren't talking that much, and although that worries us, we can see just how smart you are.
This year your theme was Toy Story. I wanted Adele, as you ADORE Adele, but dad said that wasn't a good theme.
Well you proved him wrong as you couldn't have cared less of any of your gifts really, until Mim and Papa gave you theirs. They bought you an Adele book, you stopped what you were doing and ran over to it. Everyone was so shocked that you were so excited about the book and you exclaimed her name "ADELE" in your sweet little voice.
Today wasn't all fun, you took a little tumble down the stairs. I will never forget the image of you falling and how terrified I was. Thank goodness you were ok.
Your amazing cake. You LOVED IT!!
You were obsessed with playing with the little figurines from on top of the cake.
You and I had snuggles the next day. We were both so tired.
Happy Birthday my sweet little man. I love you so much, it hurts, literally. I never dreamed I could love someone this much. I look forward to celebrating next year with you, although that year can come super slowly and I would be just as happy.
